“At the start of February I sustained a lower left lumbar injury which impacted my ability to walk for a few weeks and i had to cease my training in the gym for months. I instantly felt myself slipping back into old restrictive eating habits which i had worked so hard over many years to overcome, so I reached out to Amy.

Amy was kind, compassionate, understanding and more than willing to help me. We agreed to track my food as I once used to with the macros she had given me. I definitely struggled getting enough protein in and was having cravings which amy thoroughly educated me on and provided options on how i can increase my protein which subsequently killed any cravings and gave me energy. There were some days I felt she may be disappointed as I had not achieved my goals but she was the complete opposite, offering alternatives and options to help improve in these areas.

“I think this is the happiest I’ve been in a while. I did the nutritionist thing a while ago, it did work for me at the time, but looking back it was mainly them putting in what I had to eat, the portion sizes and there wasn’t much wiggle room and with the amount of training I was doing then, I definitely wasn’t getting enough protein, it also didn’t feel sustainable like I could follow that forever.

I feel like I have a much better understanding about what I’m looking at when I look at the nutritional information and how I should be eating, I know I still have a long way to go but just wanted to say a big thanks so far Amy, you were right it was scary but the fact that I’m eating more food than I have been and still seeing results is crazy to me, very grateful for the accountability and help you have given me!
